Fun Garden Party Beverage

FUN-GARDEN PARTY BEVERAGE
2 T. fresh lime juice
2 T. agave syrup
4 springs fresh cilantro; more for garnish
3 (1/4”) thick slices English cucumber
1 (1/4”) thick slices fresh jalapeno
¼ c. 100% agave blanco (silver) tequila

1. Combine lime juice, agave syrup, cilantro spring and 2 cucumber slices and jalapeno in chilled cocktail shaker.
2. Muddle well.
3. Add tequila and fill shaker with ice.
4. Put lid and shake as hard as you can for 30 seconds.
5. Strain into highball glass filled with fresh ice.
6. Rub remaining cucumber slice around rim of glass to season it. Garnish the drink along with sprig of cilantro.
7. To make AGAVE SYRUP: Combine equal parts light agave nectar and hot water to dissolve (stir). Let cool completely before using. Store in refrigerator up to 1 month.
