AMAZING EASY BAKED BABY BACK RIBS
SAUCE:
2 c. yellow mustard
2 c. light brown sugar
1 ½ c. apple cider vinegar
1 c. sugar
1 T. garlic powder
1 T. onion powder
1 t. smoked paprika
1 (15-oz.) can tomato sauce
Kosher salt/black pepper
RIBS:
1 c. soy sauce
1 c. Worcestershire
1 T. liquid smoke
1 T. brown sugar
1 T. ground ginger
Kosher salt/black pepper
6 racks baby back ribs, membranes removed (about 2 lbs. each)

  1. SAUCE: In large saucepan, add mustard, brown sugar, vinegar, sugar, garlic and onion powder, paprika and tomato sauce and whisk until combined. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Place over medium heat and bring to boil. Reduce to low and simmer for 1 hour or until thickened. Set aside. If you refrigerate, heat up before basting ribs.
  3. RIBS: Mix together soy sauce, Worcestershire, liquid smoke, brown sugar, ginger, salt and pepper in large measuring cup.
  4. Arrange ribs in roasting pan. Pour marinade over ribs. Toss and flip so that the total ribs are coated. Marinate overnight or at least 4 hours.
  5. Preheat oven 250. Line 3 rimmed baking sheets with foil.
  6. Place 2 racks of ribs on each baking sheet, meat-side up. Brush with any remaining marinade left in roasting pan. Cover with foil and bake for 2 hours.
  7. Uncover ribs and drain off fat. Mop or brush the SAUCE on both sides, returning ribs to meat-side up.
  8. Raise temp to 300 and bake ribs, uncovered until meat is tender and sauce begins to caramelize, about another hour.
  9. Mop the ribs again on both sides. Raise temp to 375 and bake, uncovered and add more sauce as it is absorbed, until meat gets brown and caramelized, another hour.
  10. Cut ribs into individual pieces. Us remaining sauce for serving.
