Yummy Fried Avocados

2 c. Bisquick
1 (8-oz.) can beer
2 eggs
2 T. apple cider vinegar
1 T. garlic powder
1 T. salt
1 T. black pepper
2-4 fresh avocados, cut into 8-10 wedges
4 T. flour
Peanut oil, for frying
Sour cream, salsa, favorite salad dressings like Ranch, etc. for dipping

  1. Combine batter ingredients, first 7 ingredients.
  2. Dust the avocado wedges with flour.
  3. Dip wedges into batter mixture until well coated.
  4. Heat peanut oil to 325 in deep fryer or deep iron skillet.
  5. Fry wedges in hot oil until lightly browned, about 2 minutes.
  6. Drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve with sour cream, salsa, etc.
