Tangy Buttermilk Marinated Chicken Breasts

TANGY BUTTERMILK-MARINATED CHICKEN BREASTS
2 c. well-shaken buttermilk
Kosher salt, red/black pepper
6 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
Olive oil
½ c. homemade or good-quality store-bought bbq sauce
- In bowl, whisk buttermilk.
- Season chicken with salt, red/black pepper.
- Place chicken in zip lock bag and pour buttermilk mixture over it. Shake to cover all parts of chicken. Let sit for 30 minutes or more.
- Heat grill to 400.
- Shake off excess marinade and pat the chicken dry.
- Lightly coat the breasts with olive oil and a little more salt and pepper.
- Grill chicken 3-4 minutes before flipping.
- Flip and cook another 3-4 minutes.
- Brush the top with bbq sauce, flip and brush more on the other side.
- Grill until internal temp is 160.
- Let rest 2-3 minutes before serving.
