Spicy Crab Tacos
SPICY CRAB TACOS
3 medium tomatoes, finely chopped
2 large red radishes, finely diced
½ small red onion, finely chopped
¼ c. chopped cilantro or parsley
1 T. Sriracha chile sauce
Salt, black pepper
2 large jalapenos
½ red bell pepper, diced
½ yellow bell pepper, diced
3 T. olive oil
1 T. fresh lime juice
1 T. chopped fresh mint
½ lb. lump crabmeat, picked for shells
8 (10”) flour tortillas, halved or quartered
- In medium bowl, combine tomatoes, radishes, onion, 2T. cilantro and Sriracha. Season with salt.
- Preheat a grill pan.
- Grill jalapenos over moderate heat, turning until charred all over. Let cool, then discard charred skin, stem and seeds. Finely chop jalapeno.
- In another bowl, combine jalapeno, bell peppers, olive oil, lime juice, mint and remaining cilantro.
- Gently fold in crabmeat and season with salt and pepper if needed.
- Grill tortillas over high heat, about 20-30 seconds per side.
- Serve the spiced crab with the warmed tortillas and salsa.
