HONEY-MARINATED FLANK STEAK
Ingredients
  • 1 (1 ½-lb.) flank steak
  • ½ c. vegetable oil
  • ¼ c. orange juice
  • 3 T. soy sauce
  • 3 T. honey
  • 2 T. rice wine vinegar
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • 2 t. grated fresh gingerroot
  • 1 T. minced garlic
Instructions
  1. Trim excess fat from steak. Score meat diagonally across grain at ¾” intervals.
  2. Place steak in shallow pan.
  3. Combine oil and remaining ingredients.
  4. Pour marinade over steak. Cover and marinate for at least 8 hours or overnite. Turning occasionally.
  5. Remove meat from marinade and discard marinade.
  6. Place meat on lightly greased rack in broiler pan. Broil 3” from heat for 5-6 minutes on each side or to desired degree of doneness.
  7. Slice steak diagonally across grain into thin slices and serve immediately.
Notes
*****Great to use in wraps as leftovers.
