FROZEN CHOCOLATE PEANUT COVERED BANANAS ON A STICK
1 c. semisweet chocolate morsels
4 medium firm bananas, peeled and ends trimmed
4 popsicle sticks
1 c. chopped salted dry-roasted peanuts
- Place chocolate morsels in large microwave-safe bowl, cover with plastic wrap. Microwave on HIGH 3-5 minutes, until chocolate is melted, stirring every 2 minutes.
- Insert a Popsicle stick into end of each banana and dunk into milk chocolate, turning to coat all sides.
- Sprinkle the chopped peanuts over each banana.
- Place on wax paper and set on a plate and refrigerate until chocolate hardens, about 10 minutes. Can also place in freezers.
*Bananas stored in freezer will keep up to 3 months. Wrap them in plastic wrap and store in freezer bags. Eat frozen or set at room temp for about 30 minutes.
You can vary the chocolate types and nuts, candies, etc. to sprinkle.
