Field Peas with Snaps

- 1 bag of frozen field peas with snaps
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 T. minced garlic
- 2 T. olive oil
- 1 bay leaf
- Salt, red/black pepper
- Place peas into pot and cover with about 2 inches of water.
- Add rest of ingredients.
- Cook over medium heat until peas are tender. Taste for seasoning.
- Add more water if peas are not done and water cooks down too low.
*****Mix leftover peas with brown or yellow rice and serve as side dish for grilled fish or chicken
