Easy Red-White-Blue Dessert Skewers

EASY RED, WHITE AND BLUE DESSERT SKEWERS
SKEWERS:
14 oz. angel food cake (cut into 1” cubes)
72-85 medium fresh strawberries (about 3 ½ lbs., stem removed)
1 pt. fresh blueberries
24-28 wooden skewers
CHEESECAKE DIPPING SAUCE:
4 oz. soft cream cheese
1 c. plain yogurt or Greek Yogurt
1 t. vanilla
¼ c. sugar

  1. SAUCE: In bowl, combine cream cheese, yogurt, vanilla and sugar. Mix well until sugar dissolves. Set aside.
  2. Thread 3 strawberries, 2 cubes of cake onto each skewer, alternating between strawberries and cake.
  3. Finish each skewer with 3 blueberries.
  4. Place finished skewers on plater and refrigerate until ready to eat. Serve with dipping sauce.
    *You can skewer the fruit and cake any way you like.
