Delightful Savory Sausage Breakfast Rolls

1 (11-oz.) can refrigerated French bread dough
2 T. melted butter
1 T. chopped fresh sage
¼ t. salt
8 oz. reduced fat pork sausage or turkey sausage, cooked and crumbled
¾ c. shredded Gruyere cheese

1. Preheat oven 350.
2. Find lengthwise seam of dough.
3. Beginning at seam, gently unroll dough into a rectangle on lightly floured surface.
4. Roll dough into 13×8” rectangle, brush with butter, leaving ½” border.
5. Combine sage, salt and sausage.
6. Sprinkle sausage mixture evenly over dough, leaving a ½” border.
7. Top with cheese.
8. Starting on long side, roll dough up, jelly-roll fashion.
9. Press seam to seal (do not seal ends of roll.)
10. Cut one (1/2” thick) crosswise slice from each end and discard.
11. Slice roll crosswise into 12 (1/2” thick) pieces, arrange on 13×9” baking dish coated with PAM.
12. Bake for 25-28 minutes or until golden.Hide or report this
