Alice's Coke Cake (Cake)

Ingredients

2 sticks butter
3 T. cocoa
1 c. coke
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 t. baking soda
¼ t. salt
2 eggs, beaten
½ c. milk mixed with 2 t. vinegar
1 t. vanilla
2 c. miniature marshmallows

Instructions

In medium saucepan, melt butter. Add cocoa and coke and boil for 2 minutes. Let cool.
Mix flour, sugar, baking soda and salt in a bowl.
Mix together the beaten eggs, milk/vinegar and vanilla in another bowl. Set aside.
When the cocoa/coke mixture is cool, add it to the flour mixture and blend well.
Then add the egg mixture to the flour mixture and blend well.
Blend in the marshmallows.
Pour into greased 13x9” pan. Bake 350 for 30-40 mintues.

Alice's Coke Cake (Icing)

Ingredients

1 stick butter
3 T. cocoa
6 T. coke
1 box powdered sugar

Instructions

Mix in a saucepan, butter, cocoa and coke. Boil for 1 minute after well blended.
Whisk in powdered sugar and blend well.
When you remove cake from oven, pour icing over top and let cool.
Cut into squares and serve with whipped topping or ice cream and fruit.
