Your Favorite Crockpot Pie/Cobbler
Ingredients
  • 2 (20 oz.) cans of your favorite pie filling (apple, peach, blueberry, cherry, etc.)
  • 1 (15.25-oz.) box of Spice Cake Mix
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 c. chopped nuts (pecans, walnuts, etc.), optional
  • ½-1 c. shredded can coconut, optional
Instructions
  1. In a bowl, combine the cake mix with the nuts and coconut, if you want to include one or both. If you do not want either, just skip this step.
  2. In crock pot, dump in the 2 cans of your favorite pie filling.
  3. Pour the dry cake mix over the pie filling (with or without the nuts, etc.)
  4. Cut the stick of butter in half and place on top of cake mix.
  5. Cover and cook on HIGH for 3-4 hours (depending on your crock pot). Mine took about 3 ½ hours. You want to see that the cake mix is completely absorbed into the mixture.
  6. At end, stir all ingredients together to mix well, optional.
  7. Serve with your favorite ice cream or whipped topping.
Notes
*****You can vary the cake mix and the pie fillings. I think I will try blueberry pie filling with lemon cake mix. Use your imagination!
