Ingredients
  • 1 stick butter
  • 3 chopped shallots or one small onion
  • 3 T. minced garlic
  • 1 c. lemon juice
  • 1 bottle of Wishbone Italian dressing or any brand you like
  • 1 c. of white wine or leftover white wine that is not suitable for drinking anymore
  • ½ c. Lea and Perrins
  • 2 T. Tobasco
Instructions
  1. Melt butter.
  2. Saute shallots or onions.
  3. Add garlic.
  4. Add rest of ingredients.
  5. Let simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Store leftovers in refrigerator.
Notes
*****I use this when basting steaks, chicken or fish.

  1. Wow, this is a beautiful site! Good job honey. Very proud of you. Can’t wait to see get the recpie for the cookies and cream cupcakes. I just got first prize for decorating a tea party table for a woman’s club here in Stuttgart. I went a route NO one thought of. Everyone brought their old china but I went to the local REAL (like a walmart or kmart) and bought all my stuff there to show the ladies what you can do if you venture out to the German stores. I used my new Villroy and Boch (New Wave) china. If you want I’ll send you a picture.
