Roasted Green Beans with Lemony Anchovy Paste Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 (12-oz.) bag Green Giant Steamer Green Beans
- Lemon pepper
- ¼ c. Gourmet Garden Chili Pepper Paste
- 3 T. Crème d’Anchovy Paste
- ½ c. Wishbone Balsamic Vinaigrette
- ¼ c. fresh lemon juice
Instructions
- Cook the green beans as directed on package in microwave except just cook for 2 minutes.
- Remove and season with lemon pepper and place in oven-proof baking dish.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the chili pepper paste, anchovy paste, vinaigrette and lemon juice.
- Pour over the green beans and mix well. Season to taste.
- Cover and set aside until ready to serve.
- When ready to serve, place in 375 oven for about 10-12 minutes or until crispy tender.
Notes
****I am not a huge fan of straight up anchovies but the paste is a nice addition of saltiness to any dish. It does not taste fishy.
