QUICK BALSAMIC GRILLED FLANK STEAK

QUICK BALSAMIC GRILLED FLANK STEAK
1 ¼ lbs. flank steak
¼ c. balsamic vinegar
Salt/black pepper
2 c. cherry tomatoes, halved
¼ c. fresh basil leaves, rough chop

  1. Combine steak, vinegar, salt and pepper in a ziplock bag.
  2. Marinate for 2-4 hours or overnight.
  3. Let stand at room temperature for 15 minutes before cooking.
  4. Preheat grill to high and oil the grates.
  5. Grill steak, turning once, 7-10 minutes for medium rare, depending on thickness.
  6. Transfer steak to cutting board.
  7. Cover loosely with foil and let stand 10 minutes.
  8. Slice steak into 4 portions, place on platter and pour juices over.
  9. Scatter with tomatoes and basil.
