Quick and Easy Bacon and Cheddar Dip
Ingredients
- 1 (8-oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1 (8-oz.) sour cream
- 6 green onions, thinly sliced
- 6 Roma tomatoes, chopped
- 1 large green bell pepper, chopped
- 2-3 fresh jalapenos, seeded and diced
- 1 (16-oz.) jar good quality taco sauce or salsa
- 2 c. shredded Mexican blend cheese or sharp cheddar
- 1 lb. sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled
- Tortilla chips or crackers
Instructions
- In bowl, beat cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
- Spread in ungreased 13x9” dish.
- Combine onions, tomatoes and peppers.
- Sprinkle over cream cheese layer.
- Pour taco or salsa sauce over the veggies.
- Sprinkle with cheese.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Before serving, sprinkle with bacon.
