Pecan Praline Deep Dish Cookie in a Skillet
Ingredients
  • 1 c. packed light brown sugar
  • ½ c. sugar
  • ½ c. salted butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 T. whole milk
  • 1 ½ t. vanilla
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 t. baking soda
  • ¼ t. salt
  • ½ c. chopped pecans
  • ½ c. toffee bits
  • ¾ c. pecan halves
  • 3 T. jarred caramel sauce
  • Sea salt
  • Ice cream or cool whip
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven 325.
  2. Lightly coat cast-iron skillet with PAM.
  3. Beat brown sugar, sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
  4. Add egg, milk, and vanilla, beating until blended.
  5. Whisk together flour, baking soda and salt in bowl.
  6. Add to butter mixture gradually beating at low speed until combined.
  7. Stir in ½ c. chopped pecans and ½ c. toffee bits until blended.
  8. Spread mixture into skillet.
  9. Top mixture with the ¾ c. pecan halves and caramel sauce.
  10. Bake until golden and set, 45-50 minutes. Let stand 15 minutes, sprinkle with sea salt.
  11. Cut into wedges and serve with ice cream or cool whip.
