Marinated Fresh Green Beans, Baby Carrots and Red Onion Dish
16-24 oz. container French Beans, washed and dried
8-10 oz. baby carrots
1 large red onion, thinly sliced
1 (11.5-oz.) bottle Marie’s Mango Chardonnay Vinaigrette
½ c. Balsamic vinegar
1 T. lemon pepper
Salt, black pepper
1. Place beans in salted boiling water and cook for 2-3 minutes until crispy tender.
2. Drain immediately and place in ice bath water. Drain and pat dry.
3. Place beans in large bowl.
4. Add carrots and onion. Mix.
5. Add the dressing, vinegar and lemon pepper.
6. Mix well.
7. Taste and season with salt and pepper.
8. Cover and keep in refrigerator.
*****This is an attractive dish. You can line a platter with mixed greens. Place the bean mixture on top and surround with sliced cucumbers and tomatoes.
