
Homemade Pita Crisps

1 T. minced garlic
1/3 c. chopped fresh parsley
Tabasco to taste
5-6 grates of fresh nutmeg
Sea salt to taste
1 stick butter, melted
1 pkg. pita bread rounds
1. Cut pita bread into pie slices and separate and place on baking sheet.
2. Combine all the other ingredients in a saucepan.
3. With a pastry brush, brush on the butter mixture on the bread slices on both sides.
4. Bake in oven at 325 until crispy. Do not burn, about 10 minutes
5. Remove from oven and let them cool and then place in Ziploc bags and you can freeze if you desire.
*****You can change up flavors with the butter with different herbs and seasonings. You can also do sweet ones with cinnamon sugar.
