Ingredients
  • 1 lb. log or ball of fresh mozzarella
  • 1 (10-12 oz.) bottle of BONANNO Balsamic Reduced Sauce
  • 1 bunch fresh basil
  • Kosher salt
  • Fresh black pepper
Instructions
  1. In a shallow serving dish, drizzle some of the balsamic sauce around the bottom (a very thin layer).
  2. Slice the mozzarella into even slices and layer them in the serving dish with a little overlapping.
  3. Sprinkle with a little salt and pepper.
  4. Drizzle over the top some more of the reduced balsamic sauce.
  5. Garnish with fresh basil.
  6. Take the remaining basil and do a rough chop and serve on the side as extra garnish.
Notes
*****The brand “BONANNO” I bought in Italy. I googled it and found it. It is merely taking a very good quality balsamic and placing in a saucepan and simmer until it thickens, if you can’t find it to buy. I love this sauce. I put it on all veggies.
