CHILLING BOO-NANA POPS
3 bananas, peeled
6 ice cream sticks or wooden skewers
½-1 c. white chocolate chips
1 ½ t. vegetable oil
12 mini semisweet chocolate chips
- Line baking sheet with waxed paper.
- Cut each banana in half so that you have 6 pieces.
- Insert stick halfway into each banana. Place on baking sheet and freeze until firm, at least 2 hours.
- Stir white chocolate chips and oil in saucepan over low heat until melted and smooth.
- Remove bananas from freezer.
- Spoon chocolate mixture over the bananas while holding over the saucepan.
- Immediately add the mini chips for the eyes and return to baking sheet and freeze for another hour or until firm.
- Serve when frozen or store in airtight container in freezer.
