Spellbinding Broomstick Bark
SPELLBINDING BROOMSTICK BARK
12-16 whole chocolate graham crackers or regular
1 (12-oz.) package dark cocoa candy melts
1 c. white candy melts
Red jumbo nonpareils, optional for topping
- Lay crackers in single layer on large rimmed baking sheet.
- Break the crackers as needed to fit.
- In medium microwave-safe bowls, melt dark cocoa melts and white candy melts, in separate bowl, according to package directions.
- Pour melted dark melt over the crackers, spreading into even layer with a spatula.
- Working quickly, spoon white melts into plastic bag and cut corner off of bag.
- Pipe 4-5 concentric circles in one corner of dark layer.
- Drag a toothpick from inner most circle to outermost circle in several places, creating a spiderweb design.
- Repeat, continuing to work quickly so the melts do not harden, until bark is covered in spiderweb patterns.
- Top the bark with nonpareils, while still wet.
- Refrigerate until set, about 15 minutes.
- Break into pieces and serve.
