Tonight, is the big night for all those competing in the “SOIREE ROYALE COOK-OFF!” This event gives Acadiana’s Finest Chefs a chance to showcase their creations. In my book, they are all winners! I hope many of you have bought tickets and join in all the festivities that are planned. Grab your best buddy, family member or someone new to the community and indulge in all the wonderful food and beverages that will be available to everyone! It is a great experience. This is the 21th year for this event. The doors open at 5:30 p.m. at Evangeline Downs Event Center. The proceeds go toward scholarships for students in the St. Landry Parish area.
