Pecan Praline Deep Dish Cookie in a Skillet
Ingredients
- 1 c. packed light brown sugar
- ½ c. sugar
- ½ c. salted butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- 3 T. whole milk
- 1 ½ t. vanilla
- 2 c. flour
- 1 t. baking soda
- ¼ t. salt
- ½ c. chopped pecans
- ½ c. toffee bits
- ¾ c. pecan halves
- 3 T. jarred caramel sauce
- Sea salt
- Ice cream or cool whip
Instructions
- Preheat oven 325.
- Lightly coat cast-iron skillet with PAM.
- Beat brown sugar, sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
- Add egg, milk, and vanilla, beating until blended.
- Whisk together flour, baking soda and salt in bowl.
- Add to butter mixture gradually beating at low speed until combined.
- Stir in ½ c. chopped pecans and ½ c. toffee bits until blended.
- Spread mixture into skillet.
- Top mixture with the ¾ c. pecan halves and caramel sauce.
- Bake until golden and set, 45-50 minutes. Let stand 15 minutes, sprinkle with sea salt.
- Cut into wedges and serve with ice cream or cool whip.
