Sweet Baby Breesus
Ingredients
- 1 large can of Pillsbury Grands Buttermilk Biscuits
- 1 (9.6-oz.) Fully Cooked Jimmy Dean Pork Sausage Patties
- ⅔ c. unsalted butter
- 5 T. good quality honey
- 1 T. Tabasco or more, to taste
Instructions
- In small saucepan, melt butter.
- Add honey and Tabasco and whisk to combine.
- Remove from heat and save. Unused sauce can be kept in airtight container in refrigerator for 1 week. Stir well before using.
- Follow directions on can to cook biscuits and on package to cook sausage.
- On each serving dish, split the biscuit and place bottom half on plate. Drizzle with honey butter.
- Place the cooked sausage patty on top, drizzle more butter and top with remaining biscuit half. Drizzle more butter on top.

*****The original recipe from the FRENCH PRESS, calls for making your own biscuits and they use homemade boudin balls. WHO MAKES THAT! You can also add cooked bacon, poached egg, sliced tomatoes, etc. whatever you would like to enjoy at that moment. This recipe caught my eye and looked so good, but this is much easier than the original. If you want the original, go to the restaurant and let them slave over the stove for you.
