REPEAT WEDNESDAY AND GADGET DAY!

Today’s Menu: (Repeat Wednesday):

Alice’s Marinated Crab Claws and Mushrooms

Caponata with Whole Wheat Pasta

Todays Gadget:  “The Wusthof Satoku Knife”

Good Morning Foodies: A quick look at today’s menu is one that I use quite often when having people over to watch a sporting event or when I have the gals over for a luncheon. It is easy and very appealing. As you see, I am trying to push the envelope on getting you to do a little planning, pre-cooking, freezing and enjoying yourself at all family and friend events.
Today’s gadget from E’s Kitchen in Lafayette, LA is the “WUSTHOF SATOKU KNIFE”. Just that name should give you piece of mind. These knives are fabulous. I try to add to my collection as I go. You need to find which you use the most. There is no need in just buying the whole set—try a few at a time. You will quickly know which ones you use and like the most.
These knives are precision forged full tang, high-carbon stain resistant stainless steel with bolster. The PEtec edge, enhances the sharpness 20% and lasts twice as long.
The traditional triple-riveted handle is made of durable Polyoxmyethylene; synthetic material that resists fading and discoloration. It is ideal for chopping, mincing and dicing fruits, vegetables, meats and fish. Each knife features a computer controlled cutting edge to ensure the final edge of the blade is precise and uniform from the tip to the heel of the knife. This new angle and more tapered cutting edge reduces the drag when slicing through foods, allowing for seamless effortless cutting. Each knife is buffed and polished by hand. They are made in Solingen, Germany with a lifetime warranty.
Great gift for Christmas for the Kitchen Krazies!
Have a great day!
