Peanut's Chicken Crock Dip
Ingredients
- 1 large rotisserie chicken
- 12 ozs. Tabasco sauce
- 16 ozs. Cream cheese
- 16 ozs. Ranch dressing (your favorite)
- 1 c. finely diced celery
- 8 ozs. Shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Shred the chicken into flaky pieces and place in a baking dish.
- Cover the chicken with the hot sauce and toss to coat. (You can add more or put less of the hot sauce, depending on how hot you like it.)
- In a saucepan, melt cream cheese and blend in ranch dressing. Blend until smooth.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken.
- Cover the sauce with the celery.
- Top with shredded cheese.
- Bake at 350 for about 30-40 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and let stand 15 minutes and serve with your favorite chips and crackers.

*****You can change up the selection of cheese to top it. Peanut said she got this recipe from my sister-in-law, Becky Morrow Cato. I knew it would be good because both these gals can stir a mean pot!
