Over-the-Top Citrus Margaritas
OVER-THE-TOP CITRUS MARGARITAS
4 navel oranges, cut into ¾” pieces
2 lemons, cut into ¾” pieces
2 limes, cut into ¾” pieces
½ c. superfine sugar
¼ c. Cointreau
¼ c. Triple Sec
1 ½ c. good quality tequila (recommended 100 percent agave)
10 c. ice
Fine salt, for rims of glasses
10 lime wedges
- Put oranges, lemons, and limes through a juicer.
- Pour juice into large pitcher.
- Add sugar and stir to dissolve.
- Stir in Cointreau, Triple Sec and tequila.
- TO SERVE: Pour salt onto a small plate. Run lime wedge around top of each glass and dip glass in salt. Fill glass halfway with ice and pour in juice mixture.
- Garnish with lime wedge.
