NOVELTY RED VELVET SKILLET COOKIE
1 ½ c. flour
¼ c. unsweetened cocoa powder
½ t. baking soda
¼ t. salt
1 stick butter, softened
½ c. sugar
½ c. packed light brown sugar
1 egg
2 t. liquid red food color
1 t. white vinegar
1 c. semisweet chocolate chunks
1 c. white chocolate chips
Vanilla ice cream
Chocolate syrup
- Preheat oven 350.
- Coat 10” cast-iron skillet with PAM.
- Whisk together four, cocoa, baking soda and salt in bowl.
- Cream butter, sugar, brown sugar in separate bowl with mixer until light and fluffy.
- Beat in egg, food color, and vinegar until combined.
- Beat in flour mixture just until combined.
- Stir in chocolate chunks and white chips. Press dough into prepared skillet.
- Bake for 18-22 minutes or until set.
- Serve warm with ice cream and chocolate syrup.
