Instructions
- Rub 1 mint leaf over inside of metal julep cup (traditional cup used for this drink) or a highball glass. Make sure leaf touches all areas of cup. Drop leaf in cup when done.
- Add remaining mint leaves and simple syrup to cup. Using a wooden spoon, mash the leaves and syrup together.
- Fill cup halfway with crushed ice. Add bourbon and stir until the metal cup gets icy.
- Fill the cup the rest of way with crushed ice. Stir once. Garnish and enjoy!
