Melt in Your Mouth Short Ribs (CROCK POT)
Ingredients
  • 3-4 lbs. serving sized beef short ribs, seasoned
  • 3 T. packed light brown sugar
  • 2 T. minced garlic
  • 2 t. dried thyme leaves, crushed
  • ¼ c. flour
  • 1 (10 ¾-oz.) can condensed French Onion Soup
  • 1 (12-oz.) dark ale or beer
  • Fresh chopped parsley, garnish
  • Hot mashed potatoes or egg noodles
Instructions
  1. Place the seasoned beef ribs into 5 qt. crock pot.
  2. Mix the sugar, garlic, thyme and flour and rub all over the ribs.
  3. Mix the soup and beer and pour over the meat.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 8-9 hours or on HIGH for 4-5 hours or until beef is fork tender.
  5. Garnish with parsley and serve with potatoes or egg noodles.
