Ingredients
- 3-4 large heirloom tomatoes (try to get a mix of shapes and colors), cut into nice bite size slices
- 1 bunch of fresh basil
- 8-12 oz. fresh mozzarella, cut into cubes
- Kosher salt
- Fresh black pepper
Instructions
- Heirloom Tomato Salad: In large serving bowl, place the cut tomatoes and mozzarella cubes.
- Place as much of fresh basil that you might like. Give a rough chop.
- Set aside in refrigerator until ready to serve.

Ingredients
- ¼ c. white balsamic vinegar
- 2 T. chopped fresh basil
- 2 T. fresh lemon juice
- 1 T. Dijon mustard
- 1 t. sugar
- 1 t. minced garlic
- ½ t. salt
- ½ t. black pepper
- ⅓ c. extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
- Whisk together all the ingredients except oil in small bowl.
- Gradually add the olive oil in a slow, steady stream, whisking until blended.
- Taste for seasoning.
- Pour over the Heirloom Tomato Salad. Taste for seasoning again.
