1 ½ lbs. lean ground turkey
1 T. minced garlic
1 t. ground cumin
1 T. dried oregano
1/3 c. Kalamata olives, finely chopped
3 oz. crumbled feta cheese
1 c. finely chopped and packed fresh spinach
Sea salt/black pepper to taste
PAM OLIVE OIL SPRAY
1. Preheat oven 425.
2. Add all ingredients in large bowl and mix thoroughly.
3. Scoop out large fistful of meat, roll into ball, then flatten into a patty about 1 ½” thick.
4. You should make about 6 patties.
5. Use your thumb to make a shallow indentation in middle of each patty.
6. Set a large oven-safe nonstick skillet over medium-high heat and spray with PAM.
7. When skillet is hot, add patties.
8. Cook on one side 3-4 minutes, until edges are brown and seared, flip.
9. Cook another additional minute, then place entire skillet in oven and cook until internal temp is 165, 9-11 minutes.
10. Enjoy burger on toasted whole wheat bun, butter lettuce, cucumber slices, thinly sliced red onion, sliced tomato and Greek yogurt instead of mayo.
