Ingredients
  • 1 c. whole milk
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 ½ c. flour
  • Salt, red/black pepper
  • 6 ears of fresh corn, cleaned (cut in half)
  • Canola oil, for frying
  • Paprika
  • Melted butter, optional
Instructions
  1. Combine milk and egg in shallow dish and mix well.
  2. Combine flour and season with salt and red/black pepper in another shallow dish.
  3. Dip each ear of corn in milk/egg mixture, then roll in seasoned flour.
  4. Knock off excess flour.
  5. In large skillet, heat oil to 350. Put enough oil that will cover half way up the side of corn cob.
  6. Add corn and fry for 3 minutes per side. Just keep rolling it around until golden on all sides.
  7. Drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with extra salt and paprika.
  8. You can have melted butter on the side for dipping, optional.
