Favorite Cheeseburger Dip

FAVORITE CHEESEBURGER DIP
1 T. canola oil
1 lb. ground sirloin
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
Kosher salt/black pepper
2 (8-oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 (8-oz.) bag shredded pepper jack/cheddar cheese
1 c. lettuce shreds
1 c. diced fresh tomatoes
½ c. diced red onion
½ c. chopped dill pickles
Chips or crackers for dipping
SAUCE:
1/3 c. Miracle Whip or mayo
1 T. mustard
2 t. catsup
½ t. garlic powder
½ t. onion powder
½ t. smoked paprika
2 T. pickle brine (from jar of dill pickles)

  1. Preheat oven 375.
  2. DIP: Heat oil in skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add beef, Worcestershire, salt and pepper. Cook, breaking apart into small pieces until lightly browned. Remove from heat.
  4. Spread cream cheese to fill bottom of 10” cast-iron skillet.
  5. Top with ½ of the shredded cheese, cooked beef, then remaining shredded cheese on top.
  6. Bake 18-20 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes.
  7. SAUCE: in bowl, stir together mayo, mustard, catsup, garlic/onion powders, paprika and pickle brine.
  8. On top of the dip from the oven, place lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle slices.
  9. Drizzle with special sauce. Serve with favorite chips or crackers.
