Fan-Favorite Nacho Pie

FAN-FAVORITE NACHO PIE
4 c. Nacho Cheese Tortilla Chips, coarsely crushed
1 lb. ground beef
½ c. chopped onion
1 (16-oz.) can chili beans, undrained, warmed
1 (8-oz.) can salsa
Salt/black pepper to taste
1 T. ground cumin
1 c. shredded mozzarella cheese or your favorite cheese
Garnish with chopped jalapenos, sour cream, etc.

  1. Preheat oven 375.
  2. Place chips in lightly greased 9” pie plate and set aside.
  3. In large skillet, over medium heat, cook and crumble beef and onion until meat is no longer pink, about 8-10 minutes.
  4. Drain grease from skillet. Season the mixture with salt, black pepper and cumin.
  5. Spoon meat over the chips.
  6. Top meat with beans, salsa and cheese.
  7. Bake uncovered until nachos are heated through and cheese is melted.
    *Garnish with your favorite toppings.
