Delicious Gooey Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownies

DELICIOUS GOOEY CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER BROWNIES
½ c. melted butter, cooled
1 ½ c. sugar
2 t. vanilla
3 eggs
¾ c. flour
½ c. unsweetened cocoa powder
½ t. salt
½ t. baking powder
24 full-size chocolate peanut butter cups
- Preheat oven 350.
- Line 9×13” baking pan with parchment paper and spray with PAM.
- Beat together melted butter and sugar with hand mixer.
- Add vanilla and eggs, one at a time, beating well between each addition.
- Sift together flour cocoa powder, salt and baking powder.
- Add to the butter/sugar mixture. Beat until fully combined.
- Spread half batter across bottom of prepared pan. Batter is thick in texture and need to spread carefully to cover entire pan.
- Nestle the peanut butter cups into brownie batter, forming neat rows.
- Spread remaining batter over the cups and smooth evenly.
- Bake for 30 minutes. Batter should be set in middle and a toothpick inserted in center should come out with a few moist crumbs.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool completely in pan.
- Brownies will lift easily from pan by lifting edges of parchment paper.
- Cut into pieces and serve.
