Delicious Cheese Steak Sliders

DELICIOUS CHEESE STEAK SLIDERS
SLIDERS:
2 T. bacon grease or olive oil
1 T. minced garlic
1 onion, sliced
2 oz. fresh mushrooms, minced
½ large green bell pepper, sliced
1 lb. sirloin steak, thinly sliced
1 t. salt
1 t. black pepper
1 t. smoked paprika
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
12 Hawaiian rolls
½ c. mayo
6 oz. provolone cheese
¾ c. your favorite soft cheese spread
GARLIC BUTTER:
3 T. butter, melted
¼ t. garlic powder
1-2 T. parsley, minced
1. Preheat oven 350.
2. Grease baking dish or baking sheet.
3. Heat bacon grease or olive oil in large skillet over medium heat.
4. Add garlic, onion, mushrooms and bell peppers and cook until softened, 8-10 minutes.
5. Set veggie mixture aside.
6. To same skillet, add steak, salt, pepper, paprika and Worcestershire and cook until meat is almost done, 3-4 minutes.
7. Add veggie mixture to the meat mixture and simmer, stir and cook until meat is fully done, 1-2 minutes.
8. Slice the full sheet of rolls in half (rolls should not be separated.)
9. Place bottom half rolls on baking dish.
10. Spread mayo on bottom layer.
11. Add a layer of provolone to the mayo layer.
12. Add the meat/veggie mixture in an even layer atop the cheese. Make pile as high as desired.
13. Add a dollop of the cheese spread to each slider.
14. Add top layer of rolls.
15. Melt butter, the garlic powder and parsley together.
16. Brush tops of rolls with garlic butter and top each with extra chopped parsley.
17. Cover rolls with foil and bake until cheese is melted, 10-15 minutes.
18. Uncover and bake until tops of buns are toasted, 5-8 minutes.
