Creamy, Cheesy-Spinach Crab Dip
CREAMY CHEESY-SPINACH CRAB DIP
2 c. lump crabmeat, drained and picked
1 c. shredded jalapeno cheddar cheese
¾ c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
½ c. milk
½ c. grated Vidalia onion
½ c. Miracle Whip or mayo
1 T. sherry vinegar
1 t. red pepper
2 T. minced garlic
1 (10-oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed, drained and squeezed dry
1 (8-oz.) carton cream cheese, softened
1 (8-oz.) carton sour cream
1 T. lemon zest
- Place all the ingredients except the lemon zest in a 3-4 qt. crock pot.
- Stir well.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 2 hours.
- Stir in zest. Taste for seasoning. If you want to increase the peppery level, add Tabasco or ground red pepper flakes.
