Creamy Bacon Potato Chowder
Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 large Vidalia onion, chopped
- 4 (10 ¾-oz.) cans condensed cream of potato soup
- 4 soup cans of milk
- Salt/black pepper, to taste
- 2 large russet potatoes, cut into ½” pieces
- ½ c. chopped chives
- 1 c. shredded extra-sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 c. shredded Gouda cheese
Instructions
- In a 6 qt. crock pot/slow cooker, add the bacon, onion, soup, milk, potatoes, ¼ c. of chives and some salt and black pepper. Mix well. You can add more for additional seasoning.
- Cover and cook on HIGH for 3-4 hours or until potatoes are tender.
- Add cheese and stir until melted and taste for seasoning.
- Garnish with remaining chives.
