Cheesy Burger Sliders
Ingredients
- 1 pkg. of 12 rolls that are connected, not individual
- 2 lbs. lean ground beef
- 1 T. salt
- 1 T. black pepper
- 1 T. garlic powder
- ½ c. chopped onion
- 6 slices sharp cheddar cheese or your favorite
- ½ c. melted butter
Instructions
- Mix the beef with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
- Spread this mixture into an 11x13” glass baking dish, sprayed with PAM.
- Bake 350 for 20 minutes.
- Remove from oven and remove the meat from the dish, try to keep in one whole piece.
- Drain off the excess fat.
- Slice the 12 roll square in half. Place the bottom half in the baking dish.
- Place the cooked meat on top of the bread.
- Sprinkle the chopped onion on top of the meat.
- Layer the slices of cheese on top of this.
- Place the top layer of bread on top of this.
- Brush the top with melted butter.
- Bake 350 for 20 minutes.
- Remove from oven and cut into 12 sliders.
Notes
*****I used The Original King’s Hawaiian Sweet Jalapeno Rolls. These rolls run a little smaller in size compared to regular rolls. You might have to adjust the layered ingredients.
I baked the ground meat in the baking dish and trimmed off the excess baked meat to fit the size of the bread bottom layer.
