Good Morning Foodies! I could see the smoke stacks flowing, hear the gumbo pots rattling and everyone cuddling up! I don’t think there was a chicken or link of sausage left in St. Landry Parish after this past Artic blast and the one coming up tonight and tomorrow. Protect the THREE P’S-PIPES, PETS AND PEOPLE! I am thinking WINTER is going to make its mark this year! I am perfectly okay with that. I think my TIGERS AND SAINTS are done for the year! Awful, awful, awful is all I can say!
Okay, FOODIES, take note. This is the last week I will be posting. I am going to welcome GRAND PEEP NUMBER NINE into the world. The grand day is WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 26th. I will be going to help a few days before the delivery and stay for a while to help after the delivery. My plan is to be back posting on Monday, December 8th, but we all know the saying, “WE MAKE PLANS AND GOD LAUGHS AT US!”
So say a little prayer for new PEEP, her parents and me that all goes well, and we get back to our normal daily patterns of living life.
