Bavarian Sponge Cake with Fresh Fruit and Chocolate Sauce
Ingredients
- 1-Store-Bought Bavarian Sponge Cake
- 1 (8-oz.) container of each: Chocolate Sauce; Caramel Sauce; Cream Cheese Sauce (found in the refrigerated section of grocery store)
- Assorted fresh fruits (select what is fresh at the time of season you are preparing the dish)
Instructions
- Place the sponge cake on a serving platter.
- In a bowl, mix all three of the sauces. You will have leftover sauce. You can use for other purposes. Sometimes these sauces come in 16 oz. sizes. Just place leftover in container and keep refrigerated. It will keep for weeks.
- Spread the mixed sauce mixture over the bottom of the sponge cake.
- Arrange your favorite fresh fruit.
- Cover with saran wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
*****You can also just use plain chocolate sauce and leave the other sauces out.
