Alice's Party Mix
Ingredients
- 6 (12-16 oz. bags of oyster crackers
- 10 pkgs. dry Hidden Valley Ranch Buttermilk Recipe Original Ranch Salad Dressing Mix
- 10 c. olive oil
- 8 T. dillweed
- 8 T. lemon pepper
- 4 T. garlic powder
- 4 T. red pepper
- 4 T. black pepper
Instructions
- In largest oval magnalite pot, place crackers in it.
- In large bowl, mix rest of ingredients. Pour over crackers and mix well.
- Bake in 325 oven for 45 minutes or until all the liquid is absorbed. Try to stir every 10-15 minutes.
- Once done, add the following ingredients and mix well. Then drain on paper towels.
- Store in quart zip loc bags and freeze. Keeps indefinitely.

- Added ingredients:
- 3 cans of cashews
- 3 cans honey-roasted peanuts
- 3 cans regular peanuts
- 3 cans hot peppered nuts
- 3 cans mixed nuts
- 4 bags of Chex Party mix, use the assorted flavors available.
- 1 box bite-size cheese wiz crackers
- 1 box cheese tid bits
- 1 box cheerios
- 1 box wheat, rice, corn chex cereal
Instructions
- add to above mixture and mix well. Then drain on paper towels.
Notes
*****You can change up any of the added ingredients and add what you like. You can also cut recipe in half. I like to make a large batch and freeze. I use all year round as an easy appetizer to put out with drinks.
