Alice’s Air-Fryer Filet Mignon
ALICE’S AIR FRYER FILET MIGNON
2 (6-8 oz.) filet mignons
Salt, red/black pepper
Olive oil
Olive oil Spray
1. Season the steaks with salt, red/black pepper or your favorite steak seasonings.
2. Rub olive oil all over steaks.
3. Cover with plastic wrap and let sit in refrigerator over night or for at least 3-4 hours.
4. Let steaks sit at room temp for at least 1 hour before cooking.
5. Spray Air Fryer with olive oil and preheat at 400 for 5 minutes.
6. Place steak in basket and cook 4 minutes.
7. Flip and cook for 3 minutes.
8. Flip again and cook for 2 minutes. Check internal temp for the degree of doneness you desire. If not cooked enough, flip again and cook 2 more minutes.
9. Turn off Air Fryer and let set for 5-8 minutes.
*****This is what I did for my steaks and it was a perfect medium-rare. All machines vary, as well as thickness of steaks, so it takes a time or two to get the hang of it. Must say, the taste was superb and very tender, juicy and moist.
