Crunchy Cookie Brittle
CRUNCHY COOKIE BRITTLE
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 t. salt
1 ½ t. vanilla
2 c. bleached white flour
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1. Preheat oven 350.
2. Using electric mixer, cream together butter, sugar, salt and vanilla until light and fluffy.
3. Using spatula, stir in flour. Do not over mix.
4. Stir in chocolate chips.
5. Pour cookie dough into 9×13” metal baking pan and press dough down very firmly.
6. Bake until edges are slightly golden, about 20-25 minutes.
7. Allow cookie to cool for 10 minutes and immediately cut into triangles with sharp knife.
