Heavenly Fresh Peach Pound Cake
Ingredients
- 4 c. flour
- 3 c. sugar
- 2 c. butter, softened
- ½ c. milk
- ½ c. peach schnapps
- 6 large eggs
- 1 T. vanilla
- 2 ½ c. diced fresh peaches
- Vanilla ice cream or whipped topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven 325.
- Place flour, sugar, butter, milk, schnapps, eggs and vanilla (in that order) into 4 qt. heavy duty electric stand mixer.
- Beat at low for 1 minute. Stopping to scrape down the sides.
- Beat at medium for 2 minutes.
- Stir in peaches.
- Pour into greased and floured 10” Bundt or Tube pan.
- Bake for 1 hour and 30-35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Cool in pan for 20 minutes.
- Remove from pan to wire rack and cool completely.
Notes
*****Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped topping.
