Ingredients
  • 1 fryer, cut up and seasoned
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can water or broth
  • 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
  • 2 T. Kitchen Bouquet
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped (save some for garnish)
  • 1 bunch fresh parsley, chopped (save some for garnish)
  • Salt, red/black pepper/garlic powder
Instructions
  1. Season chicken with salt, red/black pepper and garlic powder.
  2. Place chicken pieces in roasting pan or Magnlite pot.
  3. Mix soup, water or broth, soup mix, Kitchen bouquet and chopped veggies (saving some of the green onions and parsley for garnish.
  4. Pour the mixture over the chicken and cover.
  5. Bake 350 for 1 ½-2 hours or until chicken is tender.
  6. Remove the lid for the last 15-20 minutes and kick up temp to 400 and let the dish get a little golden brown.
  7. Serve over rice or egg noodles or mashed potatoes and garnish with extra green onions and parsley.
