Balsamic Glazed Tuscan Spareribs
Ingredients
- 3 T. olive oil
- 3 T. chopped fresh parsley
- 2 T. kosher salt
- 1 T. fennel seeds
- 1 T. black pepper
- 1 T. chopped fresh sage
- 1 T. chopped fresh thyme
- 1 T. sweet paprika
- 2 t. crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 t. ground coriander
- 1 t. ground allspice
- 6 lbs. pork spareribs
- ¼ c. 5 year aged balsamic vinegar
Instructions
- In bowl, combine olive oil, rosemary, salt, fennel, black pepper, sage, thyme, paprika, crushed red pepper, coriander and allspice.
- Rub the spice paste all over the ribs and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat oven 325.
- Arrange ribs meaty side up on large rimmed baking sheet or roasting pan.
- Roast 2 hours or until tender.
- Preheat broiler.
- Brush meaty side of ribs with balsamic vinegar and broil 6” from heat until browned, about 2-3 minutes.
- Let stand 5 minutes after removing from oven.
- Cut between ribs and serve.
