WHAT CAME FIRST THE CHICKEN OR THE EGG!!!!!

Good Morning Foodies: The age old question of what came first, the CHICKEN OR THE EGG—You ask, how does this fit in today’s post. Well, let me give you a little story: My first PEEP, my son, CRAIG, will be celebrating his birthday on May 9th. So, if you do the math, you can see he pretty much celebrates his birthday around MOTHER’S DAY WEEKEND! Sometimes, I feel sorry for him because we all know—MOMMAS COME FIRST-RIGHT! As you can see, we have this little rivalry going—I could not celebrate MOTHER’S DAY if it were not for him—but then I say, you can’t have a BIRTHDAY without me!!!!!!!! Anyway, I wouldn’t change a thing. My son has become a great SON, HUSBAND, FATHER AND FRIEND! They always say, you can tell how a man will treat you, by the way he treated his MOTHER! Well, he gets a star!

I am proud of many things in my life, but none of them beat, BEING A MOTHER!!!!!

I want to wish all of you out there a most wonderful MOTHER’S DAY! This goes out to all of you—even though you may not of given birth, you can be a MOTHER to many, in the role as a SPECIAL TEACHER, A CLOSE FRIEND, AUNT, CONFIDENT/MENTOR—so you ALL, take a bow, also!!!

I am always sad when I think I don’t have my MOMMA with me on this holiday and any other day, but I know her spirit and love are always with me.

Embrace your MOMMA if she is still with you—You will always remember these most precious days when they are long gone!
